Chris Hemsworth Is Offering Free Workout Sessions For People Stuck At Home During Coronavirus Lockdown
If you have watched the Avengers or Marvel’s Star Trek, you would probably be familiar with the name Chris Hemsworth. Besides his incredible good looks and acting skills, this actor has a body that is meant for a god. So it comes as no surprise to hear that he frequents the gym. I mean, how else would he be able to maintain that body. The good news is that he is offering everyone the opportunity to stay fit even from the comfort of their homes.
The recent lockdown in many states has seen gyms close their doors to customers to help mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus. While this is commendable, it has left many fitness buffs with a lack of options to stay fit.

Whether you are exercise freak or not, these sessions will ensure you do not end up in worse shape after the end of the quarantine period. Benefits of staying fit
If you are still sitting on the fence of whether or not to take advantage of this opportunity, here are a few benefits of staying fit that many help you decide
Exercise can help with weight loss
Let’s face it! No matter how disciplined one can be, staying at home all day will test your resolve. It may start from a small snack, and then a bite of chocolate and voilá, you find yourself eating a lot. Engaging in physical activity to burn off those calories will prevent that excess weight.
If you are struggling with weight gain, there’s no better way to lose it than to dedicate time to exercising. Inactivity can lead to weight gain and even obesity. The more intense the physical activity you engage in, the more calories you will burn. Add dieting to the mix, and you will soon have that great body you’ve always dreamt about.
It boosts energy
If your energy level is low or you have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and other progressive illnesses, you may want to consider exercising. Studies have found that exercise can boost the energy level of both healthy people and those suffering from diverse medical conditions. It strengthens endurance and helps the cardiovascular system work as it should.
One study, in particular, which was conducted for 36 healthy people who had reported persistent fatigue, found that six weeks of regular exercise reduced these feelings of fatigue. Exercise has also been found to be more effective than any other treatment in combating CFS.
It improves sleep quality
Exercise can help those with sleeping disorders sleep better. Its sleep benefit isn’t restricted to the young. The elderly who tend to be affected by sleep disorders can take advantage of regular exercise to improve sleep quality.
A study conducted on 17 people with insomnia who engaged in physical activity for 16 weeks showed that it helped them sleep better and longer when compared to those in the control group. Additionally, they felt more energized during the day.
