Chamomile is a daisy-like flower that is often used for various medicinal purposes, such as treating cuts and wounds. It comes with many health-enhancing benefits as well.
Of these, promoting a good night’s sleep is a major one. Chamomile tea has been used as a cure for insomnia for centuries. Delighting yourself in a cup will soothe your nervous system and allow you to get a good night’s sleep. In turn, you will be able to function better during the day and go about your daily work and activities without feeling as tired.
Moreover, chamomile has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties that help purify and rejuvenate your skin. Chamomile has been used by some to help clear their acne, eczema and allergies.
If the saying, “If you look good, you feel good” is true, then chamomile is the way to go.
Ginger is considered to be one of the healthiest foods on the planet. For some, ginger is nothing more than a simple side dish to complement their sushi. What these people may not know is that ginger has much to offer your health.
Consuming ginger reduces pain, inflammation and nausea. When our bodies feel weak or are unable to function properly, it takes a toll on our mind as well. We become stressed from the ache or discomfort and feel as though our brain isn’t working right. This can lead to loss of sleep or decreased energy levels. Adding ginger to your diet can help you feel stronger and more energized as its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects work to keep your body in good health.
Starting your day with a glass of lemon infused water is one of the best things you can do for your health. It improves digestion and and gives your metabolism a small kick, allowing you to burn more calories throughout the day.
Adding lemon to your regular diet has other amazing health benefits. It is a rich source of vitamin C, which helps fight free radicals that cause cancer. It also boosts your immune system, helping your body protect you from diseases that bring you down.
