Whatever the Future Holds, Keep Your Head up Because It’s Going to Be All Right

“The darkest hour is just before the dawn,” – Thomas Fuller [1]

You’re at that place where everything seems bent on falling apart.

You’re grasping, striving, trying, willing yourself to keep going, but the road is intent on staying obstructed. You don’t know what the future holds and you’re not sure how anything will turn out. You’re tired of all the trials and tribulations. Your efforts keep getting frustrated and it’s starting to look like more than just coincidences. You feel as though there are forces of nature working to bring you down.

You’re losing sight of the bigger picture. Your dreams are starting to seem like fairytales and your visions for the future have become blurry. You are at that point where resigning yourself to fate begins to seem like an easy way out.

Don’t ever let that ray of hope get snuffed out. Stay positive that it will expand into a bright, shining beam that will bring you nothing but good tidings. Keep your head up because you’re going to be okay. Tough times are part of the circle of life, and you owe it to yourself to get tough too. There must be someone watching you, looking up to you, counting on you to succeed because your success will bring them joy and security. Don’t take this as pressure, but let it be your motivation.

If the situation is out of your hands and not within the control of any human being, it’s time to go deeper. Your mind will always give you a measure of control over your life. Push yourself out of wallowing in self-pity and try to find a bright side. Let your mind push the pain and suffering away because you are that powerful.

Positivity is the right frame of mind

We’re only human. We’re not demigods. We’re emotional and susceptible to worries and fears of the unknown. However, negativity will only attract negative things and affect our quality of life. Even though it’s potentially dangerous to count your eggs before they hatch, don’t assume they’ll all be shattered before they do. Find a neutral ground inclining toward the emergence of feathery, happy birds.

You’ve tried so hard and fought bravely, but the situation doesn’t seem to be getting any better. There’s no break in your case and you’re not the lucky exception. You’ve tagged yourself unfortunate and you’re always eager recount the many things that have gone wrong.

The more you feed your mind with positive thoughts, the more you can attract great things into your life. You have to pull yourself out of that mental hellhole and shake the negativity off. Negative thinking can lead to depression and worsen your anxiety, sinking you further into a black hole that you may not be able to come out from.

You owe it to yourself to stay positive. If you’ve come this far, then your turnaround is right at the corner.

Count your blessings and never stop believing

Your life cannot only be a tale of woes. There must be something or someone you’re grateful for, a symbol of joy that will always bring you a rush of happiness. Bank heavily on these things. Be proud of your achievements and let your mind flow through happy memories.

If you’re always worried about the future, try to focus on today and think about the things within your control. Think about the aspects of your life that you can fix. Don’t worry about things you can’t control because that’s only going to hurt your.

You’re going to be fine. You’ll get through this and come out twice as strong. Diamonds are formed underground from decaying carbon-materials extreme temperatures and insane pressures. However, they are pushed to the surface by volcanic eruptions as beautiful, priceless crystals, the hardest known material in the world, hardened by tough times and painful situations.

You are a diamond, so hang in there and stay positive.
